What is full-access cabinetry?

Full-access, frameless, cabinetry has no face frame to which the doors are hinged. Full-access cabinet doors are hinged to the inside of the cabinet and completely cover the front of the cabinet structure, as well as concealing the hinges. Full-access cabinets are also adjustable, ensuring perfect alignment. Because they have no face frames, CANAC full-access cabinets offer 10%-20% more storage capacity than framed cabinetry. The ends, or sides, of CANAC full-access cabinets are flush like fine furniture and install much easier than conventional cabinetry. Moreover, there is no frame to compromise accessibility, and shelves are fully adjustable and extend forward all the way to the door. And because of the openness of CANAC full-access cabinets, they are much easier to clean. Learn more about full-access cabinetry.

What are thermofoil doors and how are they constructed?

Canac's Soho, Freeport, Polo Club, Concord Hill, New Haven, Abaco and Acadia door styles feature our thermofoil offering. For these doors, a scratch-resistant vinyl is thermally formed and sealed over a single piece of medium density fiberboard (MDF), resulting in an incredibly strong and durable surface that is resistant to most household wear, and takes paint beautifully.
